University of Nottingham Ningbo China is seeking to recruit a PGR Student Services Assistant in Graduate School (Maternity cover for 7 months).Your Responsibility Your key responsibilities include: 1. Receive and respond to PGR student enquiries and service requests, judging when to forward to or involve others, and escalating requests outside their knowledge base to appropriate person2. Deliver relevant administrative activities in PGR student services, ensuring an excellent student experience and level of service quality through attainment of agreed timescales and quality standards3. Recognize /understand impact of incidents arising and raise issues of concern where necessary to ensure appropriate resolution of PGR student enquires/issues4. Carry out routine record keeping and data entry to ensure accurate records are maintained of the services. Run automated or routine reports to support established work unit information requirements 5. Prepare clearly defined documents typically using standard formats or templates for students and department. Ensure that due care and attention is attributed to confidential data and information6. Work flexibly to ensure peak periods are accommodated and the services are able to be delivered with changing demands7. Assist to screen PGR applications Help respond to applicants' enquiries Support other admissions related work, e.g. data generation, information update.About You 1. You should have bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Management, Educational Administration, or other related discipline, master degree would be ideal 2. You should have ability to communicate in both English and Mandarin 3. You should have customer service skills 4. You should have possess a commitment to delivering a high quality professional service to students and staff5. You should have ability to define priorities and work flexibly and effectively under pressure to meet demanding and often conflicting deadlines6.
